Then it acts on the oscillator emulation better getting some real movement out of its filters. It usually takes pairing a few instances and keeping the stereo field discreet. But I can get pretty close with the ooomf and punchiness out of most of the V Collection. I know the Prophet 5, and Oberheim OBX8, as if they were sitting here. That's always going to be some of the case with soft synths.

That's the most dreamy pad, and I just can't lift it out of the software Juno. The one instrument I'm finding difficult to extract the realism or patch that's in my head is the Juno 6-V which I can't replicate the chorus the way I know I can get out of my hardware JV-90, (Juno). I've got the Synclaviar-V and Moog Modular eating out of my hands and those two beasts alone require some attention. I figure I have a lifetime of working with even just a few of the V Collection as it is. It's in perfect shape and never left my studio. Besides, I have a hardware E-Mu ESI-32, and previously owned an Emax. I was tempted with the release of the Emulator II. I'm pretty good with the V Collection as it it.
